PRIVACY AT A GLANCE – SOILAB FOR TEENS

Short first-layer privacy notice (Art. 12 GDPR)

For young people

We don’t ask you for anything. To play Soilab you don’t need to sign up or type in your name or email address. We don’t use cookies, and we don’t use the information you leave while browsing the website https://www.soilabforteens.eu/index.html to follow you or learn about your habits.

What happens when you visit the website. Like every website, our server automatically records some technical information: the network address of the connection you are using (IP address), the date and time of your visit, the page or file you opened, the outcome of the request (for example, whether there was an error), the type of browser and device your browser reports, and the version of the security protocol used for the connection.

Why. Only to protect the website from cyberattacks and to understand what happened if something breaks. We don’t use this information for anything else, we don’t sell it and we don’t give it to anyone for advertising.

For how long. 90 days. After that, it is deleted automatically.

Who sees it. Re Soil Foundation, which is the controller of the website’s data, and Ecofficina, the company that built and runs the website. The servers belong to Aruba, in Italy. The data never leaves the European Union.

Your rights. You can ask to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to stop us from using it. You can also do this together with a parent. Write to info@resoilfoundation.org, telling us the day and roughly the time you visited the website and which device you used: we need this to find the right data among what has been recorded. If you think we haven’t followed the rules, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Your right to object

You can object to this processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Write to info@resoilfoundation.org. We will have to stop processing your data, unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or that we need the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
